On Thursday the 19th of August 2010 at 1:50 p.m. (under the auspicious Ekadashi), Janikipilla Saraswati Amma (Swamiji’s mother) passed away. It is said to be very fortunate to pass during Ekadashi.
The Dahippikunnu (cremation ceremony) began at 2 p.m. on the 20th of August, and the Karmam (last rites) were performed by Swamiji.
We would like to express our loving gratitude and utmost respect to the Mother of ISMA and Kalariyil Dharmikam Ashram.

The Sanchayanam (collection of the Ashes) ceremony will be on Thursday the 26th of August at 8:30 a.m.
