The past few months have been especially busy at the Ashram. A lot has been accomplished thanks to the sincere effort of many people. A group of some of those staying in the Ashram took a tour to Thodupuzha in central Kerala. They were the guests of Suji Kuriakose, Senior disciple of Sat Guru Hanuman Das. During the tour they visited his center, the nearby reservoir, the hill station of Munnar (famous for its tea plantations), and also spent a day mountain climbing.
The group were also able to see the progress of the construction of the new Kalari in Thodpuzha.
A good time was had by all.
- Biju, Kahlil, Manu, Vishal, Brian, Aravind, Vijay, Satendra, Navaneeth
- Tea is one of the main crops of the Hill stations
- The hills around Munnar
- Top Station in Tamil Nadu
- Partially completed Kalari
The 26th of this month saw the Indian School of Martial Arts conducting a large scale demonstration of kalaripayattu.

Kalaripayattu Demonsrtation
Students from all parts of Kerala travelled to Dharmikam Ashram in order to take part. A wide range of techniques were put on display including ;
- unarmed forms
- 2 man fighting forms
- blunt weapons
- sharp weapons
- flexibility routines
- weapon sparring
- locking techniques
- throwing techniques
- evasion techniques
This was a special opportunity for those in attendance to witness the ancient tradition in its natural setting. Many of the visitors were allowed to stand in the Kalari itself. This gave them a close up view of the concentration, focus and intensity of the students movements.
